Sustainable Development Goals

SGRR University’s Commitment And Intiatives To Achieve Sustainable Development Goals

SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goals. These are a set of 17 global goals established by the United Nations (UN) in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs aim to address a broad range of global challenges to ensure a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world for all people and the planet.

The 17 SDGs cover key areas such as poverty, education, health, gender equality, clean energy, climate action, and peace. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved by 2030, and they are designed to be interconnected, meaning progress in one area often supports progress in others.

Shri Guru Ram Rai University is playing a crucial role for shaping the future of higher education, promoting sustainability, and addressing global challenges. As an Academic Institution for Learning, Research, and Innovation, Our University play a significant role in driving progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
