Under the joint aegis of Uttarakhand Vigilance Establishment Headquarters and Sri Guru Ram Rai University, a Debate (speech) competition was organized by the School of Education on the theme of eradication of corruption (Anti Corruption).
The competition was presided over by Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri, Registrar of Sri Guru Ram Rai University. Addressing the participants, he said that corruption is like a disease, today corruption is increasing rapidly in the country
of India. Its roots are spreading fast. If it is not stopped in time, it will engulf the whole country. Calling upon the youth, he said that they can eliminate the disease called corruption from India.
On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Yashveer Dewan, advised the organizers to keep organizing such programs from time to time. In his address, he said that if students are inspired to get rid of corruption from their student life itself, then India can turn into a prosperous, developed nation.
Academic Director Professor Kumud Saklani, Dean Academics Professor Malvika Kandpal, Dean Student Welfare Professor Kanchan Joshi were present in the jury of the Debate (speech) competition.
Hansika Saxena, a student of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, secured the first position in the speech competition organized on this occasion. The second position was bagged by Angela Sharin, a student of M Pharma, while the third position was bagged by Mehak Mamgain, a student of the School of Education.
On this occasion, along with Dr. Balbir Kaur (HOD, B.Ed.), Dr. Anil Thapliyal, Dr. Vijendra Gusai, all the teachers and students were present.
