
Freshers Party 2025 was organized by Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences. In the programme, senior students welcomed junior students with utmost enthusiasm. Cultural presentations amid melodious music and dance made the programme fabulous.
On Friday, at SGRRU’s auditorium, the Opening Ceremony of the programme was done by Dean, School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Keerti Singh by lamp lighting. In her welcome address, Prof. Dr. Keerti Singh on behalf of the faculties and senior students of School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences welcomed the 268 fresher students. She said that currently, more than 780 students are studying at School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences. She said that School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences not just an ideal institution to pursue various courses, it’s also a place where facilities and opportunities are provided for students’ personality development. She said that alumni of School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences after pursuing various courses have made excellent careers and employed in India and abroad. She assured the fresher students that they will be guidance and motivation always from the faculties and senior students.
After this, the female students sang Saraswati Vandana and also danced on it turning the atmosphere spiritual. Then the students of various courses of School of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Medical Lab Technology, Optometry and Medical Microbiology gave admirable performances on songs and dances of various states of India presenting a glimpse of their cultures. Fresher students did ramp-walk representing the culture of their respective states. In the programme, Jatin (BMM student) was honoured with the title of Mr. Fresher while Khushi (BPT student) with the title of Ms. Fresher. Anshul (BMRIT student) was chosen as Mr. Sparkle while Sakshi (BPT student) as Ms. Sparkle. Aman (BPT student) became Mr. Charming while Ankita (Optometry student) became Ms. Charmimg. Stage Anchoring was done by students, Arya Tyagi, Simran Singh, Sana and Ayush. Significant roles were also played by Dr. Sharda Sharma, Dr. Neha Chauhan, Nisha Dhyani, Dr. Surbhi Thapliyal, Dr. Papiya Singh, Dr. Manjul Nautiiyal, Nivedita and all the faculty members in making the programme a success.
