Brief profile and Achievements:
Dr. Kumar, born and brought up in Lucknow, which is the State Capital of Uttar Pradesh. He received his school education from various parts of Garhwal and Kumaun regions of Uttarakhand state and completed his University education from the University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He earned his Bachelor degree in the field of biological sciences and education and also earned master’s degree in the field of Biotechnology, Hindi Literature and Education. He completed his Ph.D in the field of Education in the year of 2003. In April, 1996, He started his career as a science teacher at a school in Lucknow and continued it till 2005. In 2005, he joined the field of higher education as Lecturer in the Teacher Education department of Subhash Chandra Bose Degree College, Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh and in 2006, he joined the Department of Education, Shri Guru Ram Rai (PG) College, Dehradun as Lecturer. In 2013, he also worked as an Assistant Professor at Fiji National University, Republic of Fiji and came back to India in 2014. After coming back to India, he again joined the Department of Education, Shri Guru Ram Rai (PG) College, Dehradun as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Kumar is a hardcore teacher. He is passionate about his profession and has over 26 years of teaching experience. He published 16 research papers in various national and international journals and completed one minor research project funded by the UGC. Till date, he produced three Ph.D's and currently has six students continuing his research under his able guidance.
