Dr. Pankaj Chamoli is working as an Associate Professor, Department of Physics, SGRR University. Dr. Chamoli has received a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Materials Science Programme, IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, Uttarpradesh. He did M.Tech. in Materials & Metallurgical
Eng. from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab and holds graduation and post-graduation (Physics) from HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. Dr. Chamoli is a part of the teaching-learning process of the university, having years plus of experience of teaching to
undergraduate level and higher levels. In addition to this, Dr. Chamoli is an active researcher, and enthusiastically participating in cutting-edge research, technology, and innovation. Dr. Chamoli is working on different areas of nano-science and technology, particularly focusing on Nano-structured materials, Carbon nano-materials (Graphene), Nano-composites, Nanocolloids, Soft materials and their utilization for water purification, photocatalytic activity,
 
microwave absorption, energy storage/conversion and various biological applications. Dr. Chamoli has filed four Indian patents (one granted in 2020) and published two book chapters in Elsevier. In addition to this, Dr. Chamoli has published more than sixteen research papers in reputed international journals and presented twenty-plus papers in National/International conferences. Dr. Chamoli is an active reviewer for various Elsevier & Springer journals of high impact factor
