Brief profile and Achievements:
Lt. (Dr.) Khilendra Singh is serving as Associate Professor and Head, at the department of Plant Pathology, School of Agricultural Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University Dehradun Uttarakhand. He is associated with teaching and research in course pertaining to Agriculture and Plant Pathology both at UG and PG levels from the last 17 years. He did her M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology in 2003 and earned Ph.D. in Plant Pathology in 2007 from G. B. P. U. A. & T. Pantnagar Uttarakhand. His area of specialization includes Plant diseases management, Crops diseases management, Mushroom cultivation, Protected crops management. He qualified ASRB-NET in Plant Pathology in 2005. Dr. Singh carried his professional carrier when he earned his Ph.D. in 2007 as Research Associate at Vivekand Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan Almora (VPKAS), Indian Council Agriculture Research (ICAR) Almora, Uttarakhand under project “Implementation of IPM in vegetables in Uttarakhand hills” funded by HTMM-I (Horticulture technology mini mission I). He has 10 popular articles and one book chapter covering various aspects of Plant diseases and their management in various magazine and 12 research paper in NAAS rated scientific journal of International and National reputes. In recognition of his service to the scientific journal the author has selected as reviewer of several national journals. He has supervised and metored 9 M.Sc (Ag.) students in Plant Pathology and under his guidance 6 Ph.D. scholars are pursuing their degree in Plant Pathology. He also has responsibility of Associate NCC Officer (ANO) of SGRR University.
