On the occasion of World Bee Day on 20  May, 2022,  Department of Entomology, SGRRU have organized an poster making competition on the theme: “Save the Bee’s”.  The event started with the welcome address by Dr. Hitendra Kumar, HOD where he welcomed the vice chancellor of the university Dr. U.S  Rawat, he also welcomed the Dean, faculty members and the student present on the occasion. After that the Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. U.S. Rawat highlighted the importance of the proposed theme and describe the importance of these economically beneficial insects to the society. After that student presented their  posters in the above theme highlighting their role and importance. In the event 20 students presented their posters and the event was attended by BSc Agriculture students. After the completion of the event the posters were evaluated by the expert faculty members and the best three posters were awarded and certificate of participation were given to all the participants. The event ends with the vote of thanks by Ms. Shalini Sharma.
