With the Divine Blessings of Hon’ble President Mahant Shri Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, under the aegis of IPC-PVP and in association with the Blood Bank, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, successfully organized a blood donation drive on 19th September 2024. This noble event witnessed active participation from students, staff members, faculty, and volunteers, all coming together for a worthy cause.
The drive was efficiently coordinated by the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacology, ensuring a well-organized and smooth event. Students from Pharm.D. 5th year played a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the entire process, assisting donors and healthcare personnel throughout the day. Around 125 blood units were collected during the event.
Dr. Ajay K. Khanduri, Registrar, SGRR University and Prof. Divya Juyal, Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences commended the efforts of the students and volunteers, praising their dedication and selflessness in supporting this humanitarian cause.
This event serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to contribute to society's well-being, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences continues to foster a spirit of service and compassion among its students and faculty members.
