Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s Innovation and Incubation Centre (I.I.C.) and School of Management and Commerce Studies jointly conducted conducted a One Day Workshop on ‘Enterpreneurship Development:Prototype/Process Design’.
Beginning this workshop, Dr. Dwarika Maithani, Director-Innovation and Incubation Centre at Shri Guru Ram Rai University & Programme Convener, warmly welcomed esteemed Resource Person, Dr. M. Muruganandam, Principal Scientist and Head of the PME & KM Unit at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation. Dr. Maithani provided an overview of the Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) and its mission. He said that IIC of SGRR University was established with the divine blessings and guidance of Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s Honourable Chancellor, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. He said that the primary mission of the IIC is to provide a platform for new-age entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into viable business ventures. He said that its main objective is to facilitate a platform for budding entrepreneurs to start new ventures with minimal risks. Through incubation, the centre ensures access to technological assistance and mentorship from experts with multidisciplinary expertise. After that Dr. M. Muruganandam delivered a speech on entrepreneurship development, prototype/process design, and the harmonious integration of traditional wisdom with modern practices. He explains how students can initiate enterprises in various areas of water purification, livestock and agriculture based on his experience and expertise in entrepreneurial development.Following the presentation, students actively share their ideas and queries regarding entrepreneurship. Dr. M. Muruganandam and the Dr. Dwarira Maithani responded to each question, resolving doubts related to enterprises and guiding students on how to transform their innovative ideas into viable ventures. In conclusion, Dr. Pooja Jain, Dean, School of Management and Commerce Studies, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, shared her thoughts on today's workshop and extended a formal Vote of Thanks to Dr. Muruganandam for his enlightening session.
Significant roles were also played by SGRR University’s Innovation and Incubation Centre’s Coordinator, Dr. Meenu Chaudhary, Principal and Startup Cell Coordinator, Dr. Pankaj Chamoli, and Financial Cell Coordinator, Dr. Mini Srivastav in making the programme a success.
More than 100 students from various Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s schools like School of Yogic Science and Naturopathy, School of Agricultural Sciences, School of Nursing, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and School of Management and Commerce Studies enthusiastically participated in this workshop.
