On December 16, 2024, a *White Coat Ceremony* was organized for the first-year students of Pharm. D. and Pharm. D. PB (Post Baccalaureate) programs. The event marked a significant milestone as the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences welcomed the new students into the profession with this meaningful tradition.
Dean SPS, “Prof. Divya Juyal”, highlighted the importance of the White Coat Ceremony, describing it as a symbolic and heartfelt event where students are welcomed as future colleagues dedicated to patient care and the pharmacy profession.
The ceremony was meticulously coordinated by the Pharm. D. PB 2nd-year students, reflecting their leadership and organizational skills. Faculty in charge, Dr. Yogesh Joshi, Head of Pharmacy Practice, and Mrs. Suman Lata Rawat, ensured the smooth execution of the event.
The ceremony concluded with the Pharmacist's Oath, instilling a sense of responsibility and commitment among the budding professionals. The event emphasized the ethical values and dedication required for a career in pharmacy, leaving a lasting impression on the students.
