With the Divine blessings of Hon. President Mahant Shri Devendra Dass ji Maharaj, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) celebrated Vishwakarma Day on September 17, 2024, with great reverence and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with a traditional worship ceremony dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and God of engineering, followed by a puja. The faculty, Lab Incharges and staff participated in the event, which concluded with the distribution of sweets.
During the ceremony, Prof. Divya Juyal, Dean SPS emphasized the significance of Vishwakarma Diwas, particularly in the context of modern education. The dean highlighted the indispensable role of machines and technology in today’s academic and research environment, especially in pharmaceutical sciences, where technological advancements are pivotal in driving innovation and progress. The puja was carried out by Mr. K.M. Nautiyal, Lab Incharge, Pharmacology Dept.
