Training program on ‘healthy recipes and preservation

A training program on ‘Healthy Recipes and Preservation’ took place on January 16-17, 2024, at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Pathri Bagh Campus. During the event, numerous products from the Shree Star brand, prepared under the aegis of the Home Science Department, were launched.

On this occasion, students received training in making sesame, linseed, and oats laddus, as well as gooseberry pickle. Additionally, packets of these products were made available for sale, which were purchased by a large number of students and teachers. Before this, HESCO scientist Dr. Kiran Negi provided detailed information on branding and marketing products related to home science. She also encouraged students to venture into entrepreneurship. Dr. Kiran Negi shared insights into products related to Home Science.

Dr. Lata Sati, Coordinator of the Home Science Department, expressed that the department is committed to continuing such activities in the future. Guest Faculty Dr. Neha Gupta was also present on this occasion.
