December 15, 2024, On the concluding day of the World Ayurvedic Congress and Arogya Expo held at Parade Ground, Dehradun, students from the M.Pharm. Pharmacognosy program actively participated in the event. The expo showcased a variety of herbal products and medicinal plants, providing a hands-on learning experience for attendees.

Dean, SPS, Prof. Divya Juyal, emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing students' practical understanding of herbal drugs and traditional medicine. Informative materials and literature were distributed free of charge to the students, enriching their academic resources.

Dr. C.S. Tailor, Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy, accompanied the group. He facilitated interactions between the students and Ayurveda-based pharmaceutical companies, enabling networking opportunities where students exchanged contact details with industry representatives. This exposure aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, fostering greater career opportunities in the field of Pharmacognosy and herbal medicine.
