Students of Sri Guru Ram Rai University watched the proceedings of the Uttarakhand Assembly session.

Students of Sri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRA) along with their teachers on Wednesday visited the Uttarakhand Assembly to witness the proceedings. This was the first time for the students that they saw and understood the proceedings of the assembly directly with their own eyes. The students were very enthusiastic on the occasion. This experience was completely different for the students to watch and understand the proceedings of the Assembly through the news media. It was a proud moment for the students when Vidhan Sabha Speaker Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan addressed the students of Sri Guru Ram Rai University sitting in the audience gallery by the name of the university.
On this occasion, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Preeti Tiwari said that when our students came to watch the proceedings of the assembly session, it was a new experience for them. So far, what they had been seeing and hearing about the proceedings of the Assembly through books, television, radio and newspapers, they saw firsthand how the proceedings of the Assembly would have worked. It was very beneficial for the students of political science. The rest of the students also learned a lot in this budget of the assembly.
