Avantika Kaintura, a student of School of Agricultural Sciences of Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU) has been selected for National Netball Team. . In the 38th National Games, Avantika Kaintura will be the will be a part of Uttarakhand Netball Team. Before this, Avantika Kaintura had participated in National and State level competitions. Avantika has already brought laurels to Shri Guru Ram Rai University, her parents and state. President, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj has congratulated and showered his divine blessings over Avantika Kaintura on her outstanding achievement. Currently, Avantika is studying M.Sc. Agronomy at Shri Guru Ram Rai University. Avantika’s mother is a retired teacher from a govt. school while her father is also a teacher. Avantika is the youngest of the three siblings. She has intense inclination towards sports. She has been performing excellent in the sports competitions since her school days. Sharing her experience, Avantika said that girls must have self confidence over their capacity and ability. She said that regular practice leads to achieving the target. She said that her dream is to become a part of Asian Games team and represent India in International Sports competitions.
