N.C.C. Cadet of SGRRU, Akriti Rawat has brought laurels for the university as well as the state of Uttarakhand. Daughter of Uttarakhand, Akriti Rawat has represented the Uttarakhand Directorate at the Republic Day (26th January) Parade. President, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj has honoured Akriti Rawat by gifting her a cheque of Rs. 51,000/- (Rupees Fifty One Thousand).
On Tuesday, Akriti Rawat bowed down at Shri Darbar Sahib and took the divine blessings of Shri Mahant Devendar Das Ji Maharaj. President, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj has congratulated and extended his best wishes to Akriti Rawat. He honoured Akriti Rawat by gifting her a cheque of Rs. 51,000/-. Speaking over the occasion, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj said that all possible efforts must be made to promote the daughters. He said that daughters like Akriti Rawat are role models for the youth as well as for the whole society. He said that Akriti Rawat is a live example of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (Save the daughters, educate the daughters).
Over the outstanding achievement of Akriti Rawat, SGRR University family is feeling proud. The faculty members and students of Shri Guru Ram Rai University have expressed their happiness and best wishes to Akriti Rawat. Currently, Akriti Rawat is a student of Psychology at Shri Guru Ram Rai University. She represented Uttarakhand Directorate over the occasion of Republic Day, which brought laurels to the whole state.
Akriti Rawat got her school education from Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Patel Nagar. She is a student of Psychology at Shri Guru Ram Rai University. According to her family and faculties, Akriti has always been hard working, responsible, obedient and multi talented. She has not only performed outstanding in educational field, but also in sports, social works and NGO activities.
During the selection procedure for Republic Day Parade, Akriti won the Gold Medal at the IUC-RDC Camp in ‘Best Yep Cadet’ as well as a Gold Medal in IUC-RDC Camp. This is a result of her hard work and dedication, that  she got the opportunity of participating at the National Republic Day (RDC-2025) organized at New Delhi. She was honoured by the Chief of Army Staff, General Upender Dwivedi as the ‘Best Cadet’.  She played the role of Master of Ceremony (M.C.) in the programme of Chief of Air Staff.
  Akriti has been selected as Sponsor Cadet for foreign representatives, an opportunity given to a very few selected cadets in the country. She played the lead role in the cultural programme at Uttarakhand Directorate and presented the cultural heritage of the state on national level. These achievements of Akriti Rawat have made the name of Uttarakhand state shine. Her hard work, dedication and leadership skill have proved taht if passion and determination are strong, then no target is impossible to be attained. Her success is the milestone inspiration for the other girls of Uttarakhand state.
