Brief Profile and Achievements
Prof (Dr.) Sonika Kandari is working as Professor in Computer Science Department, School of Engineering & Technology, since 2024. She has teaching, research and administrative experience of more than 18 years at different Universities. She has published more than 20 research papers in different UGC, Scopus and SCI Journals and have presented her research work in different Conferences. She has been awarded Fellowship by ERNET to attend 32nd Asia Pacific Advanced Network Meet as an Indian delegate. She is associated with National & International Professional Bodies – International Association of Engineers and Scientists (IAEST), International Association of CS & IT (IACST) and International Association of Engineers (IAENG), International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Computer Society of India.
She has attended and organized more than hundred Workshops and Seminars at National Level including areas like Disaster Management, Women Empowerment, AICTE sponsored events, Research Methodology workshops, Tech-Fests, Technical Education Quality Improvement Programmes (TEQIP), Networking Research, ISTE sponsored workshops, Emotional Skills Assessment Process (ESAP), Faculty Development Programmes , Moodle based learning management system, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Big Data Analytics, Network Security, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
She has delivered several invited talks for different universities on ICT, AI & Machine Learning.She is Reviewer for Telecommunications System and Wireless Personal Communications Journals, Springer. She has served as Head of Department, Dean (InCharge), N.S.S Program Officer, Officiating Director, Assistant Controller of Examination, Member of Board of Governors, Member Board of Management, Member -Academic Council and convener for different academic and administrative committees in previously served Universities. She has been academic counsellor for IGNOU, member-flying Squad Team for Uttarakhand Technical University, ACS for Polytechnic Entrance Examination, Observer for National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology and examiner & paper setter for different universities.
