PHARMA CRAFT EXPO
With the Divine Blessings of our Hon. President, Mahant Shri Devendra Dass ji Maharaj, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated International Youth Day on 12 August, 2024 with great enthusiasm, on the theme "Pharma Craft Expo”.
Prof. Divya Juyal, Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences inaugurated the event and inspired the students with her motivational speech, emphasising the importance of youth in Nation building. She mentioned that this provided platform is for students to showcase their creativity and talents through various models and crafts related to Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Pharma Craft Expo Theme, This creative approach not only highlighted the students' technical skills but also their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, visually engaging manner. The students participated enthusiastically, bringing forward a diverse array of projects. Their works included detailed models of Drug Delivery Systems, creative representations of Pharmaceutical Processes, and Innovative Designs for new Medicinal Products. Each exhibit demonstrated the students' deep understanding of pharmaceutical concepts and their ability to think outside the box.

Enriching the Department Museum: One of the key outcomes of the event was the contribution of these models and crafts to the department museum. The museum, an important part of the curriculum set by the Pharmacy Council of India, serves as a repository of educational resources and showcases the evolution and advancements in pharmaceutical sciences. The new additions from the Pharma Craft Expo will undoubtedly enrich this collection, providing future students with valuable learning tools.

Judging Criteria: The exhibits were judged based on criteria such as novelty, skill, and the overall quality of presentation. This evaluation ensured that the best and most innovative projects were recognized. The event was judged by Prof. Lokesh Gambhir, Dean Research & Prof. Manisha Singh, SBAS. Winners of the event were awarded certificates, recognizing their hard work and creativity. These awards serve as a testament to the students' dedication and innovative spirit.
The primary aim of the Pharma Craft Expo was to incorporate a sense of responsibility among the youth. By engaging in this creative and educational activity, students learned the importance of innovation, precision, and the application of their knowledge in practical scenarios. The celebration of International Youth Day reflets the institution's commitment to nurturing talent and encouraging innovative thinking among its students. The event was well coordinated by Dr. Aarti sati, Dr. Bhawana Bhatt and Student members of Sanjeevani Council.
