Florafauna innovation summit-2021 khet se sehat’ (farm to health) was Jointly organized by FloraFauna Science Foundation (FFSF), Lucknow and School of Agricultural Sciences of the Shri Guru Ram Rai University on 13th February 2021 in virtual mode through micro soft teams. Chief Guest of Honor Dr T Mohapatra DG, ICAR had inaugurated the event. Prof US Rawat VC, SGRRU, Dehradun ; Prof Alok Dhawan Director, CBMR, Lucknow; Prof Nagendra K Singh National Prof., NRCPB, IARI, New Delhi; Prof Rana P Singh Dean, BBAU, Lucknow; Prof Ravinder Raina Amity University, Noida ; Dr Ashwini K Srivastava Former Scientist -G, BSIP, Lucknow and Prof Suman PS Khanuja Ex-Director, CSIR-CIMAP (Facilitator) had delivered lectures on various topics like need to conserve natural resources, prospects of precision agriculture in current era; role of organic farming in sustaining ecology, productivity and profitability of farmers without causing harm to the nature, soil and society. Incorporation of efficient technologies like soil testing prior to fertilization in the crop plants, judicious use of agricultural inputs and improving farmers economic stabilities were the major issues which were discussed during whole period. Participation of students, faculties, and progressive farmers from various institutions, places and states had participated. Various aspects on agricultural sustainability were presented either through posters or orally by students and faculties. Research findings of various agricultural experiments by students of agriculture were presented in a well defined manner.
