Dehradun. A Two Days National H.R. Summit-2023 is being organized at Shri Guru Ram Rai University. In this summit organized by the Placement Cell of the university, Chief Executive Officers (C.E.O.s) and Human Resource (H.R.) specialists of reputed companies, establishments and industries participated. C.E.O.s and H.R. specialist from New Delhi, Chandigarh, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune and different parts of India are participating in this National H.R. Summit. Representatives of employment office of Uttarakhand Govt. also participated in the summit. C.E.Os and professional H.R. specialists of reputed companies gave valuable tips to the students to prepare themselves according to the demands of the market. They shared their experiences on how to develop skills that lead to best representation required as per the industry and market demand.

This programme was organized at the auditorium of Patel Nagar Campus of Shri Guru Ram Rai University. The programme was started jointly by Chief Guest Advisor, Skill Development and Employment Deptt., Govt. of Uttarakhand, Jitender Mudliyar, Guest of Honour, Special Officer, Uttarakhand Employment Office, Ajay Singh, Chairperson, FICCI Lady Organization, Dr. Anuradha Malla, Registrar, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri and Co-ordinator, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. R.P. Singh by lamp lighting.

Chancellor, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj congratulated the organizers as well as motivated the students to participate and learn from such employment based programmes.

Vice Chancellor, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. Yashbir Dewan in his address to eth gathering said that Shri Guru Ram Rai University is always doing its best for all-round welfare of the students. He said that the students are the future builders of the nation. He said that it’s a must to manage our present so that the future can be bright. He said that the efforts made in present form the base of a bright future.

Registrar, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri while addressing said that the students must not keep themselves confined to bookish knowledge, but must make efforts for materializing new innovation, inventions, writings and thoughts that can guide the society, such efforts must always be continued. He said that just exam results are not sufficient for success in life, but knowledge, personality and skills will also ensure your success.

Co-ordinator, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. R.P. Singh said that the concept of unemployment can be proved wrong by ensuring proper education and skill development.

Special officer, Uttarakhand Employment Office, Ajay Singh, while addressing the gathering explained in detail the way of working and responsibilities of Employment Office. Along with this, he acquainted the students with the facilities provided by the Employment Office as well as the placements offered by the office.

Skill Development and Employment Deptt., Govt. of Uttarakhand, Jitender Mudliyar advised the students to regularly updating their skills to suit the demands of the industry world. He also urged the students to increase their technical knowledge and instead of searching for a job, becoming self employed. He threw light over the self employment plans being run by the Govt. of India.

Chairperson, FICCI Lady Organization, Dr. Anuradha Malla gave information about the tips to be successful in interviews.

Convener of the programme, Dr. Manisha Mainduly provided information that C.E.O.s and H.R. specialists of 50 highly reputed companies from all over the country are participating in this National H.R. Summit-2023 making it a unique platform for university students to gain knowledge and develop skills.

The occasion was also marked by the auspicious presence of Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s Chief Proctor Manoj Tiwari, IQAC Director Professor Suman Viz, Dr. Divya, Dr. Keerti, Dr. Kapil, Dr. Deepak Som, Dean, HODs and faculties of all the schools.
