RESEARCHERS OF BOTH THE INSTITUTIONS WILL AVAIL THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUAINT WITH THE HIMALAYAN CHALLENGES UNDER ULTRAMODERN RESEARCHES
A Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) has been signed between Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Uttarakhand Space Application Centre (U.S.A.C.). Under this M.O.U., both the institutions agreed to develop a specialized task force to stop the forest fire. Both the institutions will be jointly working on the modern eco preservation tasks of stopping forest fires and soil erosion. On behalf of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Registrar Dr. Deepak Sahni and on behalf of Uttarakhand Space Application Centre (U.S.A.C.), Director Prof. M.P.S. Bisht signed the MOU.
While addressing the gathering at the occasion of M.O.U. signing at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Patel Nagar Campus, Registrar Dr. Deepak Sahni informed that the state of Uttarakhand faces so many geographical problems due to its complex hilly landscape. This M.O.U. will provide a unique impetus for the researchers of SGRR University to solve the complex problems of the hill state of Uttarakhand on grass roots levels. The occasion was also marked by the auspicious presence of Shri Guru Ram rai University’s Vice Chancellor Dr. Uday Singh Rawat, Dean Research Dr. Lokesh Gambhir, Dr. Neelam Rawat, Prof. Arun Kumar, Dr. Saurabh Guleri, Prof. Priynaka Bankoti, etc.
