On Tuesday, the Annual Sports Meet of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences concluded in a fabulous manner.

On the final day of the Athletica-2024, the winning players were honoured with trophies, prizes and citation letters. MBBS 2020 Batch was declared overall champion for their best performance. In the Boys Section, Ayush Uniyal of MBBS 2020 Batch was honoured as the Overall Athlete of the Year. While in the Girls Section, Dhriti Deopa of MBBS 2020 was honoured as the Overall Athlete of the Year.

On Tuesday, at the Sports Ground of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Athletica-2024 came to an end. The closing ceremony of Athletica-2024 was formally begun jointly by the Chief Guest Registrar, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri, Guest of Honour, Principal, Shri Guru Ram Ra Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dr. Ashok Nayak and Chairperson Athletica-2024, Dr. Sanjay Sadhu.

The final of Girls Cricket was played between MBBS 2020 and MBBS 2022. MBBS 2020 won the title victory. Yaksha Shekhawat of MBBS 2020 Batch was chosen as the Woman of the Match for their best performance. In Boys Cricket, final was played between MBBS 2020 Vs MBBS 2021. 2021 batch batted first and scored 82 runs in the fixed 12 overs. MBBS 2020 batch then came to chase the target. The opening batsmen Sarvesh Nautiyal played a superb innings by scoring 51 runs on 22 balls while Ayush scored 33 runs. MBBS 2020 Batch won the target without loosing any wicket. Sarvesh Nautiyal was selected as the Man of the Match for his best performance.

The final of Football was played between MBBS 2020 and MBBS 2023 batches. MBBS 2020 Batch won the match with 2-0 goals. Dev and Anas both did one goal each and confirmed a victory for 2020 batch. The final of Basketball was won by MBBS 2020 batch.

Significant roles were played by Sports Officer Satya Prakash Joshi of Games Committee, Chief Medical Superintendent, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma, Dr. Puneet Ohri, Dr. Nidhi Jian, DR. Lalit Kumar Varshney, Dr. Pankaj Mishra, Dr. Vani Sharma, Dr. Shah Alam, Dr. Rnadhir Singh, Dr. Nidhi Sharma, etc. in making Athletica-2024 a success.
