SGRRIM&HS, College of Nursing, MENTAL HEALTH NURSING DEPARTMENT Conducted CPR Training Program Under the guidance of Prof G. Ramalakshmi Dean, SGRRIM&HS College of Nursing on 13/12/24 at 10:30 am, 20 people of Mothrowala village Participated in CPR Training Program.

Mrs. Reena Maibam HOD OF MHN, Mr. Abhilash Asst. Professor, Mrs. Sulekha Asst. Professor,  Ms.Kritika Nursing Tutor, Mr. Abhishek Thakur Nursing Tutor, Ms. Nisha Thakur Nursing Tutor, Mr.Pankaj Nursing Tutor, Mrs. Ranjeeta Nursing Tutor, Mrs. Beena Nursing Tutor Mental  Health Nursing Department Introduced the session of CPR. The objectives of this program are to develop the knowledge, abilities and psychomotor skills that a bystander requires in saving a person collapsed from cardiac arrest.

Training session was taken by Mr. Abhilash , Assistant Professor in the form of lecture cum discussion about the CPR and its various aspects and made them aware about the importance of Cardio -Pulmonary Resuscitation. Later on, Demonstration was given in the community Area By Mr. Ankit Dal (CPR Coordinator), Nursing Tutor Medical- Surgical Nursing Department &Ms.Kritika Nursing Tutor Mental Health Nursing Department. Interactive sessions were conducted with People Ms. Rinki, Mr Deepak, and many more people have assisted in compressing the mannequin at the right position and posture to be maintained during hands-only CPR. Then the people were asked to independently re-demonstrate the procedure on mannequin. After satisfactory demonstration of the procedure, the candidates were asked some questions regarding BLS, we cleared their doubts. We had taken feedback from the participants and they were satisfied with their new learning.

It can be concluded that after Administration of lecture & demonstration the candidates gained adequate knowledge regarding CPR. Candidates were satisfied with their new learning.
