- STUDENTS GAVE GLIMPSE OF VARIOUS STATES OF THE COUNTRY IN THE RAMP WALK

26th April 2024. On Friday, the Second Day of the Annual Fest of Shri Guru Ram Rai University Zenith-2024, a cultural evening was organized. On Friday, at the cultural evening, famous folk singer of Uttarakhand, Hema Negi Krasi and New Delhi’s Shugar Rock Band, which is popular among the youth, gave fabulous performances. At the campus of SGRRU, the addiction of Music dominated the students till late in the night. Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s Vice Chancellor Dr. Yashbir Dewan and Registrar Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri motivated the students during the whole of the programme.

On the Second Day of the fest, at the Sports Ground of SGRR University, Hema Negi Krasi with Nsingh Jagar prayed the angels and gave a sacred beginning to the programme presented a glimpse of Uttarakhand which is called Devbhoomi. Hema Negi Krasi sang many popular songs in her melodious voice like ‘Giri Genduwa’, ‘Meri Bamni’, ‘Bhalo Lgad Mero Muluk’, ‘Chait ki Chautwali’, Padhano Ke Noni Lakshima’, etc. Students and faculty members danced enjoying these beautiful songs. 

Folk Singer and Jagar Singer Hema Negi Krasi made the environment ‘nadamay’ by the ‘Jai Badri Vishal Stuti’ then ‘Jaag Nanda Uncha Hinwala’. At the song of ‘Maa Nanda’ by Hema Negi, the audiences danced with sacred feeling. After that, Hema Negi sang the songs, ‘Gir Genduwa’, ‘Kanchani Kailasho’, ‘Amrarishbaan’, ‘Meri Bamni’, ‘Guddu Ka Baba’, ‘Bhemu He’ and ’ Mohna Gelya’ songs. Before the songs begun,  thousands of students of the university warmly welcomed the artists and motivated them to perform best. The whole of the Sports Ground of the university was packed with thousands of students. Till late in the night, the students danced on the rhythm of songs by Hema Negi.

The famous Shugar Rock Band on its presentations, made the youth to dance on old songs. The students of Shri Guru Ram Rai University also presented their talents. The students by Ramp Walk gave beautiful glimpse of the various states of the country.
