Students of B.Ed II Year from SGRR School Of Education, SGRR University, organized a Fresher’s Party “THUNDER BASH”, to welcome the new students of B.Ed I Year with great enthusiasm on 17th October 2022.

Honorable Vice Chancellor did the honors of accepting the invitation and graced the occasion. While addressing the students hon’ble sir said that it was a proud moment for all the new students to be part of Shri Guru Ram Rai University. He also mentioned the importance of teacher education and holistic development which is an integral part of NEP-2020. He said that the University shall start integrated B.Ed by 2025 as per the need of NEP-2020.

Prof. Malvika Sati Kandpal, Dean, School of Education in her address to the students said that such initiatives on the part of students increase social interaction and collaborative learning essential for all round development of personality.

Students judged the freshers on various platforms such as General Knowledge, Physical strength, Cultural activities, Catwalk etc., and selected the most appropriate students for the following Titles:

• Ms. FRESHER - Ms. NATASHA TONK
• Mr. FRESHER  - Mr. VISHAL SHARMA
• Ms. SPARK - Ms. DEEPA CHETTRI
• Mr. SPARK - SHIVANSH PRATAP RANA

All the freshers participated in various activities with great enthusiasm. Prizes were given to the winners. Lunch and other eatables were served lavishly.

Prof. Anand Kumar, Dr. Balbir Kaur, Dr. Rekha Dhyani, Dr. priyanka Upadhyay, Dr. Ritu Sinha, Ms. Rakhi Chauhan were present to motivate and reinforce all students.
