One day educational visit of Ph. D. and M. Sc. Students of Agriculture to “Navdhany Biodiversity” farm, sherpur, Dehradun was organized by Department of Agronomy of the School of Agricultural Sciences to get them acquainted with modules of Organic farming and Biodiversity on 19th March,2021
The institution concretizes the building of Democracy through the mission of Bija Swaraj (Seed sovereignty), Bhu Swaraj (Land and soil sovereignty), Anna Swaraj (Food sovereignty), Jal Swaraj (Water sovereignty), Van Swaraj (forest and air sovereignty) and gyan swaraj (knowledge sovereignty). More than 30 students of M. Sc. And Ph. D. learned about concepts of compost production, vermicompost and integrated farming system for extra income generation and sustainable production potential.
