Brief profile:

Prof (Dr.) Priyanka Bankoti is presently serving as Dean, School of Agricultural Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, and Uttarakhand. She is Nodal Officer of ICAR-Accreditation for SGRRU. Dr. Bankoti has more than 17 years of working experience in teaching, research and extension.She did her M.Sc. (Ag.) in 2004 and earned her Ph.D. Agronomy in 2007from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Her area of specialization includes organic farming, nutrient management, and agroforestry. She was recipient of university scholarship during post-graduation and Ph.D., also qualified ICAR-NET. Dr.Bankoti started her professional career in 2007 after earning her Ph.D. degree. Dr Bankoti has 4 years of administrative experience as Head Department of Agronomy, School of Agricultural Sciences, SGRRU, Dehradun respectively. She has published more than 50 research papers in UGC-CARE listed, WoS, Scopus as well as NAAS rated scientific journals of International and National reputes. She has published 02 patents, 02 books, 20 book chapters. She has completed one seed money project. In recognition of her services to the scientific journal, the author was selected as Chief Editor, editorial board member, review board member and reviewer of several National and International journals. She has supervised and mentored more than 50 postgraduate students and under her guidance 8 Ph.D. scholars are enrolled. One Doctoral degree has been awarded successfully under her supervision.Dr Priyanka has organised trainings, Kisan Mela,plantation derives and other extension activities for farmers welfare in various districts of Uttarakhand.
