Board of Studies (BOS) Meeting was conducted on 1 March 2025 in School of Education, SGRR University for the Newly Introduced Course – Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Diploma Programme.

The School of Education, SGRR University, recently convened a Board of Studies (BOS) meeting to review and discuss the newly introduced course on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). The meeting focused on evaluating the course structure, curriculum, and its alignment with the latest educational policies and society needs.

Review of Course Objectives - The BOS assessed the course’s alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of early childhood education.

Curriculum Structure & Enhancements - Suggestions were made to strengthen practical components by increasing hands-on training and to include internships in both semesters.

Pedagogical Approaches - Appreciated play-based learning methods.

Evaluation & Assessment Methods - Learner’s assessment would include practicum, assignments, field reports, and interactive assignments to ensure holistic learning.

Conclusion
