WINS INTERNATIONAL MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANIZED AT DUBAI
Dehradun. Alumnus (Ex-student) of Shri Guru Ram Rai and distinguished son of Uttarakhand State Digambar Singh Rawat has brought laurels and honour from Dubai for Uttarakhand state as well as India by winning the title of International Mixed Martial Arts Championship. Digambar Singh Rawat in his Light Weight Category defeated his rival Akib Ali very badly and won the title. There’s a wave of enthusiasm and happiness in the whole S.G.R.R. group as well in Chamoli Garhwal district. Principal of SGRR Public School, Mukesh Kunwar informed, the students of his branch and all other branches of S.G.R.R. celebrated this victory and outstanding achievement of Digambar Singh Rawat. Chairman of SGRR Education Mission, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj has congratulated Digambar Singh Rawat over this achievement and showered his divine blessings over him.
It’s significant to mention that the International Mixed Martial Arts Championship was organized at Dubai in the country of United Arab Emirates. Digambar Singh Rawat, who won this prestigious sports event, belongs to a small remote village in Chamoli district. He did his schooling till Xth standard from S.G.R.R. Public School, Aadibadri and then completed his schooling from S.G.R.R. Public School, Karnprayag. Principal Mukesh Kunwar informed that Digambar was a very bright student in sports since the very beginning.
In the Light Weight Category, Digambar Singh Rawat of Aali Village, Gairsain, Chamoli district defeated his closest rival Akib Ali and named the title to his own self. Digambar Singh Rawat put high the name of the country on international level. There is an atmosphere of celebration in Chamoli district over this international achievement of its son Digambar Singh Rawat. It can well established from the fact that the residents of Chamoli district had installed a big screen at the famous Gauchar Fair (mela) and saw live the fabulous performance and victory of Digambar Singh Rawat. As soon as, Digamabr Singh Rawat held high the name of Uttarakhand state on international platform, specatators at Gauchar Fair (mela) dances with enthusiasm and celebrated his victory.
