Brief Profile:

Dr. Monika Sharma is an accomplished researcher and academician with a Master's degree in Home Science (Extension Education and Communication Management) and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension and Communication. She has also qualified the UGC NET JRF in Home Science and ICAR NET in Agricultural Extension, underscoring her expertise in the field. In 2024, she was honoured with the prestigious Young Scientist Award by UCOST, recognizing her outstanding contributions to research and innovation. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for community empowerment, she has actively participated in a variety of conferences, seminars, and training programs focused on women's empowerment, gender issues, and sustainable development. She has also published several research papers, book chapters, and articles in reputed national and international journals, contributing to the academic discourse on agricultural extension, gender equality, and communication strategies in development contexts.
