OVERVIEW
Physics is the branch of science which is extremely important for laying the foundation of a future scientist and researcher. The study of Physics deals with the properties of matter and their relationship with energy and forces. The study of physics can be divided into classical physics, relativity, and quantum mechanics. Classical physics concerns everyday sizes and velocities. Relativity concerns large objects and high velocities, while quantum mechanics concerns extremely small sizes and distances. Both areas use complex and high-level mathematics.
The Department of Physics is dedicated to impart quality Physics education to students by introducing latest curricula based on the present and future needs and our students can take a lead role in basic & application oriented research and development activities in industries and academia in the country.
