In 1995, the Institute started MCA program in department of computer applications. The MCA programme focuses on providing a sound theoretical background a well as good practical exposure to students in the relevant areas. It is intended to provide a modern, industry-oriented education in applied computer sciences. The MCA program prepares students to take up postions as system analyst, system designer, programmer and managers in any field related to Information Technology. The program, therefore, aims at imparting comprehensive knowldege with equal emphasis on theory and practice. The MCA students are encouraged to spend a full semester working in the industry in the institute giving them insight into the workings of the IT world.

Q1. What is the duration of MCA program?
Ans. Both BCA and MCA are of 3 years duration. 6th semester in MCA is dedicated towards industrial training. The duration is of 2 years for MCA through Lateral Entry.

Ans. Syllabus is designed as per the current industry trends so as to make students competent enough to join the best of industries as per their domain knowledge. We also emphasize on holistic development, ethical orientation and sense of responsibility.

Q4. Are students from non mathematical background eligible to join MCA program?
Ans. A student must have mathematics at 10+2 or in graduation to be eligible to join MCA.

Ans. We do conduct Personality Development Programs including sessions to improve technical, aptitude and verbal reasoning skills of students.
